The State of Texas Landowners Bill of Rights
The Texas Landowners Bill of Rights provides landowners with important rights and protections, including the right to be informed of any proposed activity on their land, the right to be heard at hearings concerning their land, the right to access information related to their land, the right to receive timely notice of any changes in the status of their land, the right to receive compensation for any damages to their land, and the right to be treated fairly and with respect. It also provides landowners with the ability to seek legal action should their rights be violated. Texas Landowners are also protected from unreasonable search and seizures, trespass, and discrimination. The Texas Landowners Bill of Rights is an important tool for landowners to protect their land and their rights.
